How to compress and resize an image for LinkedIn

LinkedIn images often need both sensible dimensions and a file size that uploads cleanly. Start with a reviewed preset, then adjust manually if your image needs it.

Watch for crop-sensitive areas

Profile pictures may display in a circle, and banners can shift across screen sizes. Keep faces, logos and important text away from edges. The current preset proof does not silently crop your image.

Compress after resizing
