Private exact-size compression

Compress image to 10 MB

Use this page when you need an image below, under, less than, up to or maximum 10 MB. Larger MB targets are helpful for higher-quality uploads, thumbnails and web images without relying on server-side processing.

Instructions for this target

How to compress an image below 10 MB

A 10 MB allowance generally lets you preserve high resolution for detailed photos while still meeting a large upload ceiling.

Step 1: Check the size and format

The tool above is preselected to 10240 KB. Choose one JPEG, PNG or WebP image from your device. If a service specifies JPG or another supported type, use the Output format control to match it.

Step 2: Adjust settings for 10 MB

The preset is 10240 KB. Confirm actual bytes and the destination's dimensions; don't unnecessarily shrink a photograph to thumbnail dimensions for such a generous cap.

If you enter a width or height, use Resize and compress and keep Keep aspect ratio checked to avoid stretching. Resize only does not enforce a file-size limit.

Step 3: Verify the download

Select the compress button, inspect the before-and-after previews and check the output size and dimensions. Download only after the size verifies below 10 MB and the image still looks suitable.

A file-size pass does not mean it meets every third-party image requirement.

About this example

The use case above illustrates what someone might do with a 10 MB budget. It is not a claim that any named organisation requires this exact limit. Check your receiving service's published maximum, accepted format and required dimensions.
